An original, 1967 Grateful Dead t-shirt that was originally estimated to sell for $6,000-$8,000 sold for a whopping $17,640 at a Sotheby’s auction last week.
The sale was part of the art company’s “From the Vault: Property from the Grateful Dead and Friends” auction and broke the record for the most expensive vintage rock shirt auctioned off.
