Almost all of this stuff doesn't really count as graffiti, its street art. Graffiti and street art are 2 very different things. Graffiti is all about putting your name up somewhere. The harder the place the better. It is all about saying that you put your name on something that other people couldn't. It doesn't matter if its legal, illegal, random tag, bombing, or planned piece; the most important thing is putting your name on something somewhere so every can see it. The name is the center not the art itself.

Street art almost never has a name tied to it. It is carefully planned and most of the time it is legal. But the piece itself is the center and not the artist.
