Have a hankering for camping, but don’t want to rough it outside at night? Well, the KiraVan might just be the RV for you. This off-roader, invented by Bran Ferren, was engineered to get you (and your stuff) there and back. Simple as that. However, it is also one beautiful piece of machinery. With 260-horsepower and 700lb-ft of torque to the ground through a six-cylinder turbodiesel, this monster is both functionally sound and aesthetically pleasing.
Out back, the 52-foot trailer comprises sleeping compartments, a full kitchen, two computer workstations, a bathroom and Ferren’s turbodiesel KiraBike, located on a rear elevator. If the going gets too tough, power can be sent to the trailer’s rear wheels – offering 6×6 operation up to 25mph.
There is no word on the price of this incredible RV, however, we do know that it “cost millions of dollars to build”.
