That kid is obviously a graffiti writer that was catching a ride after (or just before) painting a spot. Am I the only one that caught that? That kid probably does that all the time, its not that far fetched. When I was big into the graf scene here in Phoenix back in high school, me and a friend planned a route then hopped trains from a main yard here in PHX all the way to Albuquerque. One of the best experiences of my life. This guy has my up-most respect.
