I am going to be so glad when twitter and facebook are done with these freaking things.

    • Doug

Then don't go on Facebook or Twitter. Spend your time being aliveandfree.

Agreed… Delete these god damn accounts!!! So lame

  • Heisanidiot

I will reply to this post tomorrow.

  • TXChiver

I couldn't read all of these. There is a reason I'm not on twitter. Its full of self indulgent, egotistical morons. Lets keep this crap off of theCHIVE!

    • SnallaBolaget

If we don't laugh at them, the morons win.

      • Flux

After you read it, they've won. It's a dirty game.

    • hpph00

      This was funny though.

      • what-the-what

  • PizdusInc

I thought we were wiped out for a split second when I logged on to The Weather Channel website and it didn't remember my location.

  • Matt

Well, since its the end of the world and everything, I have a confession to make….

    I let the dogs out.

    • Unfkngblvbl

Seriously? There were actually two of you that thought to make that comment?

    • Deadpool

      Goddamn it, Matt!

  • Jeff

#10 – These claims are incorrect… The Mayan calendar is calculated based on cosmic events, such as moon phases, etc. Has nothing to do with our modern (and inaccurate) calendar.

    • Tegito

I agree, I love it when uneducated people attempt to be witty with science…

    • Claude

Inaccurate? Every time my calendar has said it was Wednesday, it was Wednesday. EVERY time. For the whole year. I'll check the other days of the week, but it seems pretty accurate to me.

      • Event Horizon

Are you joking or are you really that ignorant? Our calendar too short by roughly a quarter of a day (that's why we need leap years) and every year the inaccuracy grows by small amount.

  • teslawasrobbed

#5 Would we go first? Is that specified? I wanted to what crazy $h*t the Russians and the Japanese would pull before I go and if I miss it, I'll be really pissed.

  • weirdscribble

#1 The "mayan apocalypse" happened a long time ago. It was called "polio"

    • Fish

      True Story.

  • shadowwight

I don't get it. I mean, I know he's just trying to be a smart ass, but he makes absolutely no sense even as a joke.

  • Eric

Look on the positive side, if the world does end today that means justin beiber dies.

  • SVSumm

    #24 made me laugh

  • Tegito

#10 that awkward moment when you realize that the Mayan calender was made based off the movement of the stars and would have counted for the leap year because leap year wasn't invented yet. #dumbass

  • GatOner

#19 I can't be the only one who absolutely hates Zach Braff, right?

    • 5280Blazin

      Just you

      • Coincidence

        You mad bro?

My favorite one was two weeks ago on Facebook. 'After working today, I now have enough money to last the rest of my life, assuming the world ends on December 21.'

  • cweed

#14 I might have to get twitter so I can follow Ron and Will.

  • warren

Lot of hype about the Mayan calendar. Everyone's telling jokes like there's no tomorrow.

  • Keith_D
