Aside form rocking our Boston Strong KCCO’s, Red Sox right fielder Jonny Gomes is just about the nicest guys ever.
Over the weekend Jonny invited one of our Asst. Editors, Sebastion ‘Seabass’ Salinas (left), to the Red Sox vs. Dodgers game. Jonny even gave Seabass, his friend Matt and pregnant wife Nicole, field passes to watch batting practice.
Jonny told them about how he’s met so many Chivers this season, “I’ve gotten more ‘Chive Ons’ than I can count. It’s been great connecting with Chivers in so many different places.”
But then the whole Red Sox team did something awesome. Nicole is a MASSIVE Sox fan and during batting practice many of the Red Sox players came up to Nicole and asked to take a photo with her! Nicole told Jonny it was the best day she’d ever had and promises to name her child Jonny if it’s a boy.
Jonny hit a first-pitch home run on his first at bat that day.
Thanks again to Jonny and the entire Red Sox team for going out of your way to make a pregnant lady’s day. That was very nice of y’all to do.
