We all have media franchises that we love to death and we’ll devour any movie, comic or adaptation of it; including video games. These seem like a no-brainer, as you can actually offer fans to live within that world. Who doesn’t want to be Iron Man, Col. Guile, Luke Skywalker or even Simba? I do.
Except here’s the catch – licensing fees are heckin’ expensive. So much so, that sometimes developers have to cheap out on the quality of the game to afford to make it and sell it. More often than not, corners are cut and not enough time is given to play through them and debug them before you try to get them to stores in time to ride the popularity wave.
We’ve already compiled a list of shitty licensed video games before, but wouldn’t you know it, there’s a ton more. Too many more.
