Super Bowl LIIXVG82 (whatever) brought us a hell of a showdown, with Patrick Mahomes and his receivers burning the secondary to a crisp in the fourth quarter, closing a 10-point deficit and leading the Chiefs to victory over the 49ers. They brought home Kansas City’s first Super Bowl title since 1970. As for the reason most of the 114 million viewers tuned into the season finale of Commercials Concussion Ball — everything that airs around the game itself — we were treated to some genuine thrills and belly laughs. There were thick BAWSTON accents, a thicker halftime show, and a scrawny Jason Momoa. And hoo boy, there were lots of memes to be memed.
